My name is Emilee, and I am a Minnesota-native living the good life in NYC! I've been pointing a camera at people and places since I was in high school (I'm not going to age myself but that was well over 10 years ago)! I love photographing weddings, events, products, families, couples, and individuals.

I am a true go-with-the-flow gal! I try my best to make you feel comfortable, because THAT'S how we are going to get the best and most beautiful, genuine photos possible. I try to put everyone I photograph at ease, and try to blend seamlessly into your session and day. You won't even notice me--unless you want to, and then i'll be THERE for you, I promise. Emilee was great to work with from the beginning! Overall, she made things comfortable and easy while staying professional at all times. I knew we would get along great when I found out she also came from the Midwest but knew her style would work well for our New York City wedding. Emilee made sure to meet with us prior to the wedding to discuss the plans in detail. She was then timely and thorough on our wedding day, making sure to get all the details we wanted, even staying a little late to make sure everything was covered. She was warm and friendly with us and our guests and sent a sneak-peek album of photos the very next day which was absolutely perfect! SO happy with our decision to work with Emilee!!

I cannot recommend Emilee enough for anyone who would like the most fabulous photos of their special day, and the ease of mind that their day will be perfectly documented. We got married in September and Emilee graciously spent the whole day with us, documenting us getting ready, our first look, a super fun (and rainy) photoshoot, and finally our ceremony and reception. When I first met Emilee, her sweet nature and professionalism immediately made me feel like I made the perfect choice for our photographer, of course along with her amazing portfolio. She was ready to stick through the rain with us (although thankfully it only lasted a few minutes), and always responded so swiftly. Emilee’s photos look exactly how our wedding day felt. What a dream Emilee was to work with, from start to finish. OUR CEREMONY PARTY: we decided on a private, courthouse elopement on a Wednesday, a 60 person reception party on a Friday. In both, our biggest priority was having a photographer capture the intimate, joyful small details. We went with Emilee because of her eye for the beauty in the small things. She captured both our days perfectly. DOCUMENTARY STYLE: Emilee was perfect behind the scenes, capturing beautiful moments of our friends and family, small details of the courthouse with just us. I look back at some of these photos and ask "how did she even get that?!" She has such an eye. POSED: We had about 20 minutes dedicated to posed, family photos during our reception. Emilee had our families relaxed and laughing, quickly swapping members in and out. In some newlywed photos, we sought her advice for how to pose. She gave quick direction, made us feel confident, and always found the perfect light. COMMUNICATION SPEED: Delivered on every promise, quick replies. Emilee was 15 minutes early to both locations, we never had to worry. PERSONALLY: We met with Emilee about 4 months before our big days. We had coffee, talked about our vision and our biggest priorities. She immediately felt like a friend, and knew she was firmly on our team. If you're looking for a photographer to capture not only beautiful photos of yourself, but more importantly, the feeling in every room, Emilee is the photographer for you. We hired Emilee for our wedding day (June 17, 2023), and she was upbeat, friendly, open-minded, and just a wonderful photographer! She even traveled a bit of a distance to get to our venue (we got married on Fire Island, NY, which requires a ferry ride from Long Island).
